I have been a licensed mental health counselor for 14 years. I am licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. After graduating from Lesley University, with a Masters in Dance/Movement Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, I have spent the majority of my career in a therapeutic day school as a therapeutic teacher. There, I supported students and families who required an out of district placement for education due to various diagnostic needs. My experience includes working with children with diagnosed special needs, dual diagnoses, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, school issues, attachment, trauma, adoption, and ASD. I also received my masters in Special Education Prek-8, from Lesley University, and have extensive IEP experience.

Hi! I’m Dana and Welcome to T.I.N.A.

My approach to working with children and families is deeply relational, collaborative and creative. While I work with many different diagnoses, my therapeutic speciality is attachment, trauma and adoption. Being an adoptee myself, I understand the unique therapeutic needs that arise with adoption and attachment. Through Attachment Theory, Expressive Therapies and Play, I intend to meet the child where they are, and build a strong and healthy therapeutic relationship that can translate into the many relationships around my clients. My goal is to help children and families find healthy connections, improve coping strategies, build stronger senses of identity and a create narratives of their own story.
